Signs of Candidiasis
Candidiasis, also known as candidia, is caused by a yeast fungus called Candidia ablicans. As a yeast, Candida albicans is found in many places in the body: the throat, mouth, digestive tract, and baginal tract. It is also found on the skin. Candidia albicans has many uses in the digestive tract. For example, the yeast recognizes and destroys harmful bacteria. However. if the yeast grows out of control , it can become aggressive and produce candidiasis, intestinal disease, vaginal infections, and thrush, and infection of the mouth.
